|Recommended: YesIt's home — There's no perfect place. We have had issues a shooting and poor communication regarding some issues however, it has still been a blessing to me and my family to live here. Overall, it is a quiet area for us. The shooting is not anything that can necessarily be controlled by management so we cannot judge the overall property over that unfortunate incident. That was the first and last incident I've ever heard of out here. However, when it occurred many tenants were left in confusion and worry...waiting on management to send out their promised letter explaining the situation but the letter never came. Poor communication Moreover, many of us were led here under the free rent for a year advertisement with the expectation that the drawing would be held in July.. before our leases progressed too much but it was not held until well into about 5-6 months of a signed lease. Free rent for a year isn't really free rent for a year if it's not given until you are over halfway through the lease. For months, I called and asked for more information about this drawing, and for months I received the same answers of We don't know. When it was finally held, it still left many scratching heads with suspicion of it being staged. Furthermore, since we signed our leases in April of 2020, there has been this looming fear of increased rent next year...something that has been floated but not confirmed. So, why would I recommend this place to anyone Well, as I said in the beginning there's no perfect place. Beyond the extremely poor communication, this place is just about as good as it gets in Statesboro. Living in the new townhomes, they are spacious enough for my family of 4. We have lights and water included as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. The grounds are kept clean. Maintenace responds fairly quickly. Neighbors are mostly friendly and keep to themselves. Sometimes there may be a bit of an issue with parking when our neighbors have guests, but overall there is more than enough parking available for the tenants. Management is as helpful as they can be despite some communication issues. In the last few months, we have received several different new staff members in the front office, my hopes are that this transition will improve the communication skills. Either way, it's home... at least for now
